1. About this policy
This policy applies to physical merchandise (apparel, accessories, prints, posters and similar tangible goods) sold by independent Creators on Monetive. For digital products, please see our Refund Policy for Digital Products.
Monetive is not the seller and not the delivery partner. Monetive is a checkout and payments platform — the Creator who lists the product is the actual seller, and is solely responsible for the product, fulfilment, packaging, shipping and after-sales support. Monetive by Kanglei Sannathong Pvt. Ltd. shall not be held liable for any content or materials published, sold, or distributed by sellers on our platform.
2. When you can request a refund / return
- The item arrives damaged, defective or materially different from what was listed on the product page.
- You received the wrong item, size or variant.
- The order was not delivered within the delivery window stated on the product page (and no valid tracking shows otherwise).
- A duplicate payment was charged for the same order.
3. When refunds are not available
- Change of mind once the item has been shipped.
- Issues caused by misuse, mishandling or normal wear and tear after delivery.
- Items that are explicitly listed as final sale or non-returnable on the product page (e.g. innerwear, perishable goods, customised items).
- The buyer was unavailable at the delivery address or refused to accept the package without a valid reason.
4. Cash on Delivery (COD)
For COD orders, the buyer pays a small online deposit at checkout via Cashfree, and the remaining balance is collected in cash by the courier on delivery. If the buyer refuses delivery without a valid reason listed in Section 2, the online deposit is non-refundable and is used to cover the seller's logistics cost.
5. How to raise a refund / return request
- Contact the Creator directly using the contact details on the order confirmation email, within 7 days of delivery.
- Share your order ID, a brief description of the issue and clear photos / a short video of the product and packaging.
- If the Creator does not respond within 5 working days, you can escalate to Monetive by emailing support@monetive.in with your order ID. We will review and mediate between buyer and seller in good faith.
6. How approved refunds are processed
Once a refund is approved by the Creator (or by Monetive in an escalated case), the amount is refunded to the original payment method via Cashfree within 5–10 working days. For COD orders, only the online deposit amount paid via Cashfree is refundable through Monetive; any cash already handed to the courier is settled directly between the buyer and the Creator.

Platform fees, gateway charges and GST
Monetive platform fees are flat Free 10%, Creator 5% and Business 2% of the order amount. No GST is added to the platform fee. Enterprise fees are agreed separately.
Payment processing charges from our gateway are additional and passed through at cost. Paytm currently charges 1.99% across payment methods, plus 18% GST on that gateway fee. The platform fee, processing charge and GST on the processing charge are deducted from each payment before payout. Gateway rates and applicable taxes may change; the applicable breakdown is recorded for each new order. Existing order amounts are not recalculated.
Creator payout = order amount − platform fee − Paytm fee − GST on Paytm fee. A creator remains responsible for any taxes on their own products and services. See Fees & Payments in our Terms.
Example: a ₹1,000 sale
At the current Paytm rates, the gateway fee is ₹19.90 and GST on that fee is ₹3.58, totalling ₹23.48. No GST is added to Monetive’s platform fee.
- Free: ₹1,000 − ₹100 platform fee − ₹19.90 Paytm fee − ₹3.58 gateway GST = ₹876.52 payout.
- Creator: ₹1,000 − ₹50 platform fee − ₹19.90 Paytm fee − ₹3.58 gateway GST = ₹926.52 payout.
- Business: ₹1,000 − ₹20 platform fee − ₹19.90 Paytm fee − ₹3.58 gateway GST = ₹956.52 payout.
Payouts, refunds and chargebacks
Payout requests are processed in six-hour processing cycles, subject to available cleared funds, KYC, risk review, the payment gateway’s settlement schedule and banking availability. A processing cycle is not a guarantee of bank credit within six hours. Payouts are not automatic. Approved refunds, chargebacks and processor dispute charges may be withheld from or deducted from current or future payouts.
Subscriptions, auto-renewal and cancellation
Creator costs ₹99 for the first seven days on the monthly introductory offer, then ₹999/month via UPI Autopay; quarterly ₹2,699 and yearly ₹9,599. Business costs ₹3,999/month, ₹10,799/quarter or ₹38,399/year. Longer billing cycles are paid upfront, not in monthly instalments. The checkout shows the amount and renewal cycle before authorisation.
Subscriptions renew automatically through the authorised UPI Autopay mandate until cancelled. Cancel through your Monetive billing page before the next debit; you may also revoke the mandate in your UPI app. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not itself refund an already-paid period. Paid access continues until the paid period ends, subject to suspension for policy violations and statutory rights.
Existing paid subscribers keep their current subscription price until their next plan change. New plan selection uses the price disclosed at that time; previously collected amounts and existing mandates are not retrospectively changed.
WhatsApp charges
Monetive is a Meta Tech Provider. Connected WhatsApp Business Platform accounts are currently billed directly by Meta using the payment method in WhatsApp Manager. Monetive does not additionally debit a messaging wallet for these sends. Customer-initiated service replies inside the service window are free of Meta messaging charges.
Where a prepaid WhatsApp credit balance exists, credits are non-refundable except on account closure, subject to reconciliation of usage, unpaid liabilities and applicable law. A prepaid billing change will be disclosed before activation; it must not duplicate charges collected by Meta.
Operator and governing law
Monetive is operated by Kanglei Sannathong Pvt. Ltd., Imphal, Manipur, India. These terms are governed by Indian law, with disputes subject to the courts in Imphal, subject to mandatory consumer rights. Contact care@mail.monetive.in for billing or cancellation assistance.
Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights for defective products, non-delivery, unauthorised charges or remedies required by applicable law. Cancellation of a subscription stops future renewals; contact support for billing disputes.
