WhatsApp Business acceptable use
You must follow the WhatsApp Business Messaging Policy and WhatsApp Commerce Policy, as updated by Meta.
- Obtain and record the recipient’s opt-in before business-initiated messaging. Do not buy contact lists, send spam or misrepresent consent.
- Use Meta-approved templates outside the 24-hour customer service window. Template approval is not consent to message a recipient.
- Honour STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE and OPT OUT immediately. Blocked or opted-out contacts must not receive campaigns or bot messages.
- Do not promote prohibited goods, deceive recipients, impersonate others or use messaging for fraud, harassment or unlawful activity.
Meta controls template approval, messaging limits and account restrictions. Monetive may restrict or suspend use that violates these policies.
