2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information you provide directly:
- Full name and email address
- Phone number
- Profile photo and bio (for Creators)
- Bank account details (collected by Cashfree, not Monetive directly)
- Product content uploaded by Creators
2.2 Information collected automatically:
- IP address and browser type
- Pages visited and time spent on the Platform
- Device type and operating system
- Referring URLs
2.3 Information from third parties:
- Payment status from Cashfree Payments
- Authentication data if you sign in via Google or other providers
3. Instagram Integration
When you connect your Instagram account to Monetive, we collect and store your Instagram username, account ID, and access token to enable our AutoDM feature. We access comments on your Instagram posts solely to detect trigger keywords you have configured. We send direct messages on your behalf only when a comment matches your configured trigger keyword and message.
We do not store the content of comments or direct messages beyond what is necessary to deliver the AutoDM service. We do not sell, share, or transfer your Instagram data to any third party. You may disconnect your Instagram account at any time from your Monetive dashboard, which will immediately revoke our access to your account.
Our use of Instagram data complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Instagram's Platform Policy.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Process and verify payments
- Deliver purchased products to Buyers
- Send transaction confirmation emails
- Improve the Platform and user experience
- Send important service updates and notices
- Prevent fraud and ensure platform security
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.
5. Data Sharing
We share your data only in the following circumstances:
5.1 With Cashfree Payments for payment processing. Cashfree's Privacy Policy applies to data shared with them.
5.2 With Creators: when you purchase a product, your name, email, and phone number are shared with the Creator to fulfill the order.
5.3 With Buyers: Creator display name and profile information is shown on public payment pages.
5.4 With legal authorities when required by law or court order.
5.5 With service providers (hosting, analytics) who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality obligations.
6. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud infrastructure provider. We implement industry-standard security measures including:
- Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/SSL)
- Row-level security on our database
- Secure authentication with JWT tokens
- Regular security reviews
While we take reasonable precautions, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data.
7. Cookies
Monetive uses essential cookies to:
- Maintain your login session
- Remember your preferences
- Ensure platform security
We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may affect platform functionality.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you

- Request deletion of your account and data
- Withdraw consent for non-essential data processing

Monetive is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If we become aware that a minor has registered, we will delete their account immediately.
11. Third-Party Links
Our Platform may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those websites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Community Data We Collect
When you use Monetive's Community features, we collect and store:
a) Profile Information
- Display name, profile photo, and phone number provided during signup or profile setup
- These are visible to other members within Communities you join
b) Message Content
- Text messages, files, images, and videos you send in Community channels
- Reactions, replies, and poll votes
- Messages are stored on Monetive's servers (Supabase, hosted on AWS)
- Direct messages are stored and accessible only to sender and recipient
c) Activity Data
- Daily visit timestamps (used for streak tracking)
- Message counts (used for achievement badges)
- Last seen timestamps (shown in the members panel)
- Community membership dates and history
d) Device and Push Data
- If you enable push notifications, we store your device's push subscription endpoint
- This data is used solely to deliver notifications and is never sold or shared
- Push subscriptions are deleted when you disable notifications or delete your account
e) Phone Number
- Collected during signup for identity verification and WhatsApp-based communication
- Stored as +91XXXXXXXXXX format
- Not shared with other members publicly
- May be used by Community creators to contact members via WhatsApp for support purposes (only with your consent at signup)
15. How We Use Your Community Data
We use Community data to:
- Deliver messages and notifications to the correct recipients in real time
- Calculate and display streak counts and achievement badges
- Generate weekly digest emails summarizing Community activity
- Enable Community creators to broadcast messages to their members
- Detect and prevent spam, abuse, and Terms violations
- Improve platform features and performance
We do NOT:
- Sell your personal data to third parties
- Use your message content for advertising
- Share your phone number with advertisers
- Read your private direct messages except for abuse investigation when required
16. Data Retention (Community)
Community messages: Stored indefinitely while the Community exists. Deleted when a Community is permanently deleted by its creator or by Monetive.
Your account data: Retained while your account is active. You may request deletion by contacting mail@care.monetive.in. Deleted accounts have their messages anonymized (sender name replaced with "Deleted User") rather than fully removed to preserve Community conversation history.
Push subscriptions: Automatically expire when the device revokes the subscription. Manually deletable from your profile settings.
Broadcast history: Retained for 90 days then automatically deleted.
Mod logs: Retained for 180 days to support abuse investigation and appeals.
17. Your Data Rights (Community)
You have the right to:

- Delete your account and associated data: Settings → Account → Delete Account, or email mail@care.monetive.in
- Unsubscribe from weekly digest emails: Profile → Notifications → Digest Emails
- Disable push notifications: Profile → Notifications → Push Notifications

18. Third Party Services (Community)
Monetive Community uses these third-party services:
Supabase (supabase.com): Database and real-time messaging infrastructure. Data stored on AWS servers. Privacy policy: supabase.com/privacy
Cashfree (cashfree.com): Payment processing for Community memberships. Payment data is handled by Cashfree directly. Privacy policy: cashfree.com/privacy-policy
Resend (resend.com): Email delivery for welcome messages, weekly digests, and broadcast emails. Privacy policy: resend.com/privacy
Web Push (browser native): Push notification delivery via browser APIs. No third-party push service used.
