1. Overview
Monetive is a platform that enables Creators to sell digital products and services to Buyers. This Refund Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be issued.
Because Monetive connects independent Creators with Buyers, refund eligibility depends on both Monetive's platform policy and the individual Creator's stated refund policy.
2. Digital Products — General Policy
All sales of digital products on Monetive are considered final by default, because:
- Digital products (eBooks, PDFs, templates, courses) are delivered instantly and cannot be "returned"
- Access to digital content cannot be revoked once granted
However, refunds may be considered in the following exceptional circumstances.
3. When a Refund May Be Issued
A refund may be issued if:
3.1 Payment was successful but the product was not delivered to the Buyer's email within 24 hours of purchase.
3.2 The product delivered is significantly different from what was described on the payment page.
3.3 A duplicate payment was charged for the same order.
3.4 A technical error on Monetive's platform caused an incorrect charge.
3.5 The Creator has explicitly stated a refund policy on their payment page that entitles the Buyer to a refund.
4. When Refunds Will Not Be Issued
Refunds will not be issued if:
- The Buyer simply changed their mind after purchase
- The Buyer claims the product did not meet their expectations, without evidence of misrepresentation
- The Buyer has already downloaded or accessed the product
- The refund request is made more than 7 days after purchase
- The purchase was made during a promotional or discounted sale and the Creator's policy does not allow refunds
5. Creator Refund Policies
Individual Creators may set their own refund policies on their payment pages. Monetive will honor Creator-defined refund policies where they are clearly stated.
Buyers are encouraged to read the Creator's refund policy before making a purchase.
6. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact us within 7 days of purchase:

Please include:
- Your full name and email used for purchase
- Order ID or transaction reference number
- Reason for refund request
- Screenshot or evidence if applicable
We will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days.
7. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed through Cashfree Payments and credited back to the original payment method within 5-7 business days, subject to your bank's processing time.
Platform fees charged by Monetive are non-refundable once a transaction is successfully processed.
8. Dispute Resolution
If you are unsatisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate the matter by emailing mail@care.monetive.in with the subject line "Refund Dispute — [Order ID]".
All disputes are subject to the governing law of India and jurisdiction of courts in Imphal, Manipur.
9. Chargebacks
We strongly discourage filing chargebacks without first contacting us. Chargebacks filed without prior communication may result in account suspension.
If you have a legitimate concern, we will always work with you to resolve it fairly.
